Congratulations to Comets Head Coach Alexis Stevens on recently being awarded two prestigious scholarships.

The first being the Women Leaders in Sport Individual Development Scholarship from Sport Australia.

The Women Leaders in Sport (WLIS) program is an Australia Government initiative that is managed by Sport Australia in partnership with the Office for Women.

The WLIS program aims to provide women with development opportunities enabling more women to reach their full leadership potential in the sports industry.

From career start, through to boardroom, the program ensures that women are exposed to and receive targeted development.

The second was a Bette Allison Coach Scholarship from Netball WA.

Netball WA, through the Bette Allison Coach Scholarship Program, aims to provide opportunities for Netball WA affiliated coaches from grass roots to elite level to further their coaching aspirations.
