Comets and Noranda Netball Association have joined forces to host our Friends in Netball Carnival.
As the name states, Friends in Netball Carnival is about having a fun day of doing what we all love and that's play the game over and over with mates. This is also a great opportunity for coaches to try different combinations for your club team and your weekly game.
We are excited to offer the following divisions:
Open Women, "No Limits", Girls: 18U, 15U, 13U, 12U, 10U and Boys: 17U, 13U.
Come and meet the Comets GIG WANL Coaches and Athletes throughout the day. Hit them up for tips on anything netball. We look forward to meeting you all on Sunday 19 May at Noranda Netball Association.
Team fee is $200 - 12 players max per team.
Each team supplies their own umpire.
Venue opens: 7:30am
Fixtures: 9am – 2:45pm
Presentations: 2:45 – 3pm
Sunday 28 April
On Sunday 28 April we are holding a Player Clinic and two Coach Education Workshops at Noranda Netball Association. High Performance Coach Lyn Pemberton is the Clinic coordinator and will be presenting the Workshops. That's 54 years of coaching experience being shared with you! The Player Clinic is for girls and boys aged 6-17 looking to develop their netball skills through drills, game sense and match play. The Coach Education Workshops comprise of a Sub Junior Level (10-12 year olds) in the morning, which is a skill and competition based program, and a Junior Level (13-17 year olds) in the afternoon with the key focus on learning the 5 Step progression in their coaching.
